This accredited course will provide you with the underpinning knowledge to develop basic skills in sugar, decorative crafts. Learn through demonstration
and set tasks to produce samples of work and build a professional portfolio which will be produced as evidence. You will cover four units – Design Ideas,
Sampling Techniques, Royal Icing and Using Sugarpaste. You will be required to supply your own materials and resources for this course unless you are
eligible for the concession.
This course introduces you to sugarcraft and cake decorating. Learn how to cover a cake, the different range of piping techniques and how to make frills and flowers to decorate cakes. Each week you will learn a different aspect of sugarcraft that you can apply to any cake decorating project. You will need to supply your own materials and resources for this course.
